From September 14 to 20, 2026, Hannover — the 72nd IAA TRANSPORTATION is about to kick off in this northern German city. At Booth C08 in Hall 12, on a 300-square-meter exhibition stand, a Chinese enterprise with 62 years of vehicle manufacturing history and cumulative deliveries of 12 million vehicles to users worldwide will make its appearance once again.

This marks JAC Motors’ second appearance at the IAA Transportation show in Hannover, showcasing its latest electrification achievements tailored for the European market to the European transportation and logistics industry.
Over the past two years, Chinese automakers have significantly increased their presence in Europe. From commercial to passenger vehicles, from complete vehicle imports to localized production, Chinese brands are participating in shaping Europe’s transportation electrification process. Behind this transformation lies the continuous investment of a group of Chinese enterprises with technological accumulation and global operational capabilities. JAC Motors is one of the representatives.
The Transformation Underway in Europe’s Commercial Vehicle Market
For European logistics operators, the core focus of fleet decision-making has shifted noticeably over the past few years.
With the confirmation of new EU environmental regulations, commercial vehicles on European roads will gradually be electrified over the next decade. But this is not a simple “fuel-to-battery” process — it concerns the deployment of charging infrastructure, the restructuring of total cost of ownership, and the systematic adjustment of fleet operation models.
Recognizing this transformation, JAC Motors first unveiled its European strategy at the 2024 IAA Transportation in Hannover, proposing the “For Greener Cities, NOW” brand proposition. Over the past two years, this strategy has moved from announcement to implementation: JAC’s Italian subsidiary was established to serve as a product, marketing, service, and spare parts hub for the European region; marketing and service networks have been rapidly deployed in Spain, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and other markets, with partnerships established with multiple leading groups.

JAC Motors’ Trump Cards
Trust is a threshold that Chinese commercial vehicle brands need to cross when entering the European market. Product specifications can be compared, but reliability, service capability, and long-term commitment require time to verify. JAC Motors responds to these questions with 62 years of accumulation.
Technological innovation trump card: In 2025, JAC Motors’ R&D investment accounted for 8.99% of revenue, up 20.64% year-on-year. In terms of technological innovation, relying on its self-developed “Star Chain 1” dedicated pure electric platform, R&D management runs through the entire product development cycle. In terms of batteries, it has jointly customized an integrated high-reliability battery pack with CATL, equipped with a full-domain liquid-cooled constant-temperature thermal management system, and simultaneously deployed both fast-charging and battery-swapping routes in the Chinese market. In terms of reliability verification, JAC Motors adheres to a three-in-one system of “forward design, full-scenario verification, and extreme testing.” All brand-new three-electric (battery, motor, electronic control) and chassis integration technologies undergo pre-emptive real-vehicle durability verification of over 10,000 kilometers covering high-temperature, cold, high-altitude, humid-heat, and mountainous conditions. Going forward, JAC Motors’ commercial vehicle business will achieve new breakthroughs in range, energy consumption, and intelligence, aiming to further reduce users’ total operating costs by 10%–15%, continuously releasing technological dividends and creating greater value for users.
Open cooperation trump card: Volkswagen Group and JAC Motors Group have established a long-term strategic partnership in the electric vehicle field, with its technical standards providing key endorsement for JAC Motors’ quality credibility in Europe; CATL and JAC Motors jointly promote battery technology innovation. The partnership choices of these globally leading enterprises have established an “international standard” perception for JAC Motors in communications with European dealers and users.
User base trump card: JAC Motors’ products are now present in over 130 countries and regions worldwide, with cumulative deliveries exceeding 12 million vehicles. Global Fortune 500 companies such as PepsiCo, DHL, and Heineken have purchased JAC Motors products and put them into actual operation, providing real-world cases and quality endorsement for its expansion in the European market.

Four Models to Meet Users’ Core Needs
At this year’s Hannover show, the four products displayed by JAC Motors correspond to different European operational scenarios — from urban distribution to intercity logistics, from plug-in hybrid to zero-emission logistics.
N90 EV — a 9-ton pure electric light truck with improved payload. Equipped with a CATL 100.46kWh battery, WLTP range reaches 180km, with 100kW fast charging for rapid energy replenishment.
N42 EV — featuring an all-new closed front fascia, equipped with a CATL 77.28kWh battery, the largest capacity in its class, with WLTP range approaching 200km.
SUNRAY PRO — a skateboard-chassis native pure electric van with 8.3m³ cargo space, maximum payload of 1.3 tons, and the lowest loading platform in its class, redefining the spatial layout logic of logistics vehicles with a native pure electric architecture.
T9 PHEV — the industry’s first 4DHT decoupled off-road hybrid system, with a combined range of 1,000 kilometers. The T9 PHEV balances both commercial and household dual-scenario compatibility as a crossover product, aiming to provide the European market with a new energy powertrain solution featuring technological differentiation and scenario adaptability.
User-Centric “For Greener Cities, NOW”
From Slogan to Industrial Chain Action
For the European logistics industry, “green” means the reduction of fleet carbon emissions and the delivery of EU emission reduction targets. JAC Motors’ understanding goes beyond simply selling new energy vehicles — using each scenario-specific model as a touchpoint, by linking energy, finance, bodybuilding, logistics and other resources, it is transforming from a product provider into an organizer of green logistics ecosystem partnerships. Locally in Europe, the Italian subsidiary, German dealer network, and next-day spare parts logistics system are already in operation.
“For Greener Cities, NOW” is not a slogan — it is the answer delivered by every new energy vehicle on the road.
