For the heavy truck transport industry, electrification is becoming a mandatory question. Zhu Hong analyzed that, on one hand, fuel price volatility keeps vehicle operating costs under pressure, and fleets need vehicles with lower operating costs, higher uptime and higher efficiency. On the other hand, charging infrastructure is still inadequate—dedicated heavy-truck fast charging and battery-swapping networks are insufficient, constraining the scaled rollout of electric heavy trucks. “This means that better operating economics are driving heavy-truck electrification, and integrated solutions are the key to breaking through.”

But for electric heavy trucks to truly go mainstream, the industry must solve four practical problems: first, limited onboard battery capacity restricts the operating range of medium and long-haul transport; second, longer charging times and inadequate charging/swapping infrastructure affect vehicle uptime; third, in cold regions, low temperatures reduce usable battery capacity and cut range; and fourth, users are highly focused on operating energy consumption, requiring continuous optimization of energy management technology.

The Phoenix BEV is a battery-electric tractor for high-uptime routes, primarily suited to fixed-route, medium and short-haul resource transport. It is equipped with a 430 kWh battery and a three-speed e-axle with peak power of 400 kW, supporting both charging and battery swapping. The three-speed e-axle improves transmission efficiency and reduces energy loss; the integrated thermal management system better addresses battery capacity degradation in low-temperature environments. In short, the Phoenix BEV offers four advantages: fast energy replenishment, strong climbing capability, controllable energy consumption and good cold-region adaptability.

The Phoenix REEV is a large-battery, small-range-extender heavy truck for medium and long-haul transport, aimed at cross-region operations—especially routes where energy-replenishment infrastructure is still underdeveloped. The Phoenix REEV also features a 430 kWh battery and three-speed e-axle, and adds two key configurations: a 110 kW range extender and a 200-liter diesel tank. As a result, the vehicle supports three energy-replenishment modes—charging, swapping and refueling—and adapts to different distances through five intelligent control modes. Taking the Beijing-Shanghai route as an example, the journey exceeds 1,000 km one way, requiring no mid-route replenishment. The core value of the Phoenix REEV can be summed up in three keywords: range confidence, flexible replenishment and strong route compatibility.

Paired with Dianlala’s mobile storage-charging-swapping solution, it requires no fixed station, lowering infrastructure investment. The equipment can also be dispatched globally through an intelligent cloud platform, enabling cross-time, cross-space allocation of green electricity—making “wherever cheap power is, the mobile platform goes; wherever the heavy truck stops, the swap happens” a reality, achieving low-cost, rapid deployment. The solution can also work in coordination with wind, solar and energy storage systems, flexibly configured according to local energy supply conditions and reducing reliance on traditional grid infrastructure.

Low investment, fast deployment and mobile—through modular, flexible building-block charging/swapping units, it fills gaps in the replenishment network and makes energy replenishment worry-free for customers.
