On February 25, Maxus, known as “China’s No.1 Light Commercial Vehicle Brand”, fired the first shot of new model launches in the Year of the Horse with the spectacular release of its star model — Dana V1 (CATL Tianxing 50kWh Battery). The new vehicle comes standard with a 50kWh CATL Tianxing battery across the range, and while maintaining its original price structure, achieves all-round upgrades in battery specification, driving range, charging efficiency and warranty policy. This sincere “more specs, same price” offering delivers a highly efficient, economical and reliable green wealth-creation tool for urban distribution logistics, micro-entrepreneurs and other users, while setting a brand-new value benchmark for the 2026 new energy commercial vehicle market.

All-New Dana V1 (CATL Tianxing 50kWh Battery) Launched
The new model is equipped with a 50kWh CATL Tianxing battery exclusively developed for commercial vehicles, delivering a CLTC range of 350 km. Featuring the industry’s first liquid-cooled and liquid-heated intelligent battery management system for commercial vehicles, the battery retains over 90% capacity even at -20°C, fully meeting all-day urban distribution operations without recharging.

In terms of charging efficiency, the new vehicle charges from 30% to 80% in just 21 minutes and supports both fast and slow charging as standard, enabling true charging freedom in all scenarios. In addition, the battery is backed by an 8-year / 600,000-kilometer warranty and supports more than 6,800 charging cycles, covering the full replacement cycle of commercial vehicles and effectively reducing long-term ownership risks and costs.
Beyond Core Upgrades: All-Scenario Wealth-Creation Tool
Alongside its core upgrades, the new model retains its segment-leading performance as a versatile workhorse.
- Space: 7-cubic-meter cargo box, 1 cubic meter larger than competitors, with a 98% space utilization rate; three front seats for extra flexibility; a 520mm ultra-low floor and 270° split rear doors greatly ease loading and unloading.
- Performance: 90 kW “six-in-one” electric drive system easily handles 25% gradients, with a rated load of 1.43 tons and energy consumption of only 13.8 kWh per 100 km, bringing a transport cost of just over 0.1 yuan per kilometer.
- Safety: As China’s first commercial vehicle to earn Euro NCAP 5-star safety certification, the vehicle uses more than 70% high-strength steel, with the battery pack protected by 590MPa high-strength steel and 10 battery safety control technologies, forming a full-scope safety shield.
- Versatility: 6.6kW V2L external discharge, mobile phone APP remote control, and flexible body solutions such as coffee trucks and refrigerated trucks further expand usage scenarios, realizing “one vehicle for multiple purposes”.
