On April 15, a high-profile new vehicle launch event that drew extensive industry and media attention was held in Chongqing.

Dongfeng Furuitong V8E & V10, the VAN models under Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “DFAC”), made their national debut.
Coming just weeks after the Futong brand was officially unveiled on March 26, the launch of these two flagship models marked the transition of Dongfeng Furuitong from a brand blueprint to tangible products.
Dealer partners, customers and more than 50 media outlets witnessed this milestone moment.
In-depth scenario-based product interpretation, attractive pricing and generous purchase benefits generated widespread buzz, ushering in a new round of transformation and upgrading in the commercial VAN market.
Precise Coverage of Urban Distribution & Heavy-Duty Scenarios
At the launch, specialists from DFAC’s R&D Institute delivered a detailed presentation on the Furuitong V8E and V10, showcasing their core configurations and upgraded features.
The two models target the new energy urban distribution and heavy-duty fuel-powered segments respectively, catering to both passenger and dual passenger-cargo use.
- For passenger transport: 6–14 seat glazed van variants
- For freight logistics: panel van variants with 6–12 cubic meters of cargo volume
They also support diversified special-purpose conversions, including postal services, refrigerated transport, engineering applications and recreational vehicles.

Offering pure electric, diesel and gas powertrain options as well as front-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive layouts, the lineup fully adapts to diverse operational scenarios.
With four core strengths — high loading capacity, easy drivability, cost efficiency and attractive styling — the models redefine the value benchmark for mainstream commercial VANs.
Dongfeng Furuitong V8E is an all-round VAN designed for dual passenger-cargo use, featuring over 30 performance and specification upgrades in exterior, interior, chassis, powertrain, efficiency, space and load capacity, making it ideal for both commercial and family use.
