Hannover Preview: C&C Trucks Invites the World to Witness the Power of Chinese Smart Manufacturing

The eyes of the global commercial vehicle industry are once again turning to Hannover, Germany.

Held every two years, IAA TRANSPORTATION is the premier global commercial vehicle event and the core stage where manufacturers compete on technology and define industry trends. With European carbon-reduction regulations tightening step by step and the global electrification wave for heavy trucks surging, what answer will Chinese heavy trucks give in this world-class test?

On September 14, Chery Commercial Vehicle’s C&C Trucks will officially debut at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 with the global premiere of an integrated transport-capacity solution. Appearing on the Hannover stage for the first time, what signals and what cards will C&C Trucks reveal? We give you the early look.

“Phoenix spreading its wings”: BEV or REEV, which route?

Which technology route should new energy heavy trucks take? C&C Trucks’ answer is simple: it does not choose for customers — it leaves the choice to the duty cycle.

For fixed-route, short-to-medium haul and high-utilization operations, the battery-electric heavy truck “Electric Phoenix” (Phoenix BEV) will demonstrate fast energy replenishment, strong power, low energy consumption and cold-weather resilience. For cross-region, medium-to-long haul and routes with limited charging infrastructure, the range-extended heavy truck “Cloud Phoenix” (Phoenix REEV) will use its ultra-long range and flexible refueling to break down long-haul range anxiety.

With BEV and REEV launched together, how each truck plays to its strengths will be revealed live.

More than a truck: global premiere of an integrated transport-capacity solution

Energy-replenishment anxiety has long been the biggest pain point holding back the scale-up of new energy heavy trucks.

This time, C&C Trucks is partnering with Gotion High-tech and Dianlala to bring an integrated “vehicle, solar, storage, charging and swapping” solution onto its Hannover booth. Vehicles, energy storage, charging, battery swapping and clean energy work in concert — low investment, fast deployment and relocatable — so green transport capacity is no longer constrained by infrastructure.

From “providing a truck” to “providing a complete operating solution”, the whole industry will be watching how this combination play unfolds.

Delivery and signing: Hannover witnesses real global combat strength

Launching a solution is only the starting point; delivery and real operation is the answer.

On the show floor, C&C Trucks will complete the delivery of its first customer vehicle on a non-European transport corridor and sign strategic cooperation agreements with partners — meaning its integrated transport-capacity solution is not a booth concept but real operating hardware about to enter customers’ daily global operations.

From one truck to one system; from product competition to competition in scenario-based operating solutions. C&C Trucks’ Hannover appearance presents not just a product lineup but a methodology for the global green transport transition.

Global customers and industry partners are welcome to visit Hall 13, Stand E54 at the Hannover Exhibition Center on September 14 to witness the surging power of Chinese smart manufacturing.
