Under the theme Lightweight Power Travels Ten Thousand Miles, New Peaks Rise in the Coal Capital, the grand ceremony marking FAW trucks’ milestone of 20,000 new energy commercial vehicles and the launch of its dedicated coal transportation solution was held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on July 3.
Li Sheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of FAW trucks; Wang Hao, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the Trade Union; Wang Jianyu, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager, as well as Party Secretary and Dean of the Commercial Vehicle R&D Institute, attended the event. FAW trucks officially released its all-new coal transportation solution on site. A seven-series new energy product lineup featuring a “five-horizontal and six-vertical” layout covers all transport radii and diverse energy replenishment conditions:
- Short-distance routes (within 200 km): J6G and Yingchi series
- Intercity medium-short haul (200–500 km): J6 Pro and JH6 series
- Interprovincial long-distance trunk lines (over 500 km): gas-electric hybrid trucks and tandem tractor-trailer sets
